Start with yourself. Not because others don’t matter, but because you do.

There comes a moment in life when the loudest noise is the one inside your own head — the constant pressure to meet expectations, to not disappoint, to keep up. For years, I lived inside that noise. I said “yes” even when my heart whispered “no.” I showed up for everyone except myself.
But choosing yourself is not a selfish act. It’s the foundation of every other choice you make.
This chapter of my life began the day I paused long enough to ask, “What do I really want?”
It was uncomfortable at first. Silence always is. But slowly, clarity began to visit.
I realized that choosing myself meant setting boundaries that protect my peace, friendships that don’t drain me, and goals that excite me.
This chapter isn’t perfect — it’s honest. And honesty is how healing begins.
